
Ashraf Sobhy meets CAF Secretary General over CAF headquarters
Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, met with the Secretary General of the Confederation of African Football (CAF ), Veron Omba, in the presence of Ahmed Nasser, President of the African Sports Confederations Association (AOCSA), and Ahmed Fahmy, General Manager of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD).
The meeting discussed the latest developments related to the relocation of the new headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to the new administrative capital and the work done on this important matter for CAF and Egypt, the headquarters country of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, explained that the support of the Capital Company is the full support of the Egyptian state for the implementation of the new headquarters of the African Football Confederation and its relocation within the New Administrative Capital in a very distinguished location and will be after the completion of its construction a distinctive sign and a giant sports edifice.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that the next meeting will be held at the new headquarters in the Administrative Capital, which is located on an area of 20 acres.
